Doin' It for the Kids

I'm thankful that Congressman Walter B. Jones (R-NC) is looking out for the children. He's sponsored a bill that seeks more parental control over school library content.

Jones' bill would presumably curtail pro-homosexual literature, as prompted by a elementary-aged North Carolina girl whose parents were outraged when she came come with a book called King and King.

The bill -- and his reasoning -- are beyond comment.

What's more interesting is that, in defense of the bill, Jones crafted perhaps the most unrebutable statement of all time:
“I just think this is an effort by the extreme left to desensitize or brainwash the elementary age children of America, and if we're going to help maintain the Judeo-Christian principles that this nation was founded on, then we've got to help the parents protect their children.”
If you oppose his bill, then you are:
1) Anti-American
2) Anti-child
3) Anti-faith
4) A historical revisionist
5) A lefitist
6) Pro-brainwashing
7) Anti-family

Brilliant. Why doesn't the left have anyone like him to (red) bait people into supporting our agenda?

Special thanks to CBN (*shudder*) for keeping me updated on this front.
